India's chip lines still ship their parts abroad to be cleaned

No dedicated semiconductor-grade cleaning facility operates in India today. Tooling and chamber parts travel to Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia or the US, and the tools they come from sit idle.

Costly downtime

An idle tool can cost a facility $50,000 to $150,000 a day while it waits for parts to come back.

Spares tied up

Weeks in transit mean buying extra sets of tooling just to cover the gap.

A missing link

Taiwan and Korea service tools and clean parts in-country. India is building fabs fast, but this layer doesn't exist here yet.

Three services, one partner next door

Parts, tools and the utilities behind them, looked after by one team that already knows your line.

Parts cleaning and refurbishment

Ultrasonic, megasonic and chemical cleaning of assembly tooling and chamber parts, finished in an ISO 5 cleanroom.

  • Collets, capillaries and bond heads
  • Mold cavities and chases
  • Test sockets, nozzles and fixtures
  • Quartz, ceramic and metal chamber parts

Tool maintenance engineers

Field engineers for scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective action on back-end equipment.

  • Wire, die and flip-chip bonders
  • Molding and trim/form
  • Test handlers, AOI and AXI
  • SMT lines

Subfab support

On-site and depot service for the equipment behind the line. A failed pump stops production as surely as a failed tool.

  • Dry vacuum pump service and rebuild
  • Exhaust and scrubber maintenance
  • Chillers, DI water and compressed air
  • Exchange and loaner units

Every part follows one tracked route

Parts move one way through the building, from controlled areas into progressively cleaner rooms, logged at every step.

Built in Assam, staffed from Assam

Our proposed site sits within 5 km of the Tata Electronics assembly and test facility at Jagiroad, in the region planned as Assam's electronics manufacturing city.

We want the Northeast's engineering graduates to build semiconductor careers at home, and we plan to hire and train locally from day one.
